Finally, Mr. Lee (이배원) sent us email about our traditional music class completion presentation. He also gave our pictures taken for the booklet, attached on his blog ^.^. Thank you 이배원 씨 for your notification. I am very enthusiastic join this class until now, even though it’s getting more difficult now. I had to catch-up several compositions which are quite hard when I was in absence three weeks ago due to my trip to London, but I think I can manage them now
Actually the Gayageum beginner class has the highest number of students in this fall session, although at the end only several people left (but still, over than 15
). On the D-day, we’re going to play four compositions (hehe I will reveal them later
). This one below is our class picture with our teacher (on the left wearing the light green t-shirt, Ms. Eum Sena)
So, for all of my friends who are living in Seoul or have a plan to go to Seoul this weekend, I invite you to see our performance in NCKTPA (The National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts / 국림국악원) on Saturday at 10.30 AM at Umyeon-Dang. You can donwload booklet_ncktpa.pdf for details. Cu there!
